Introducing the Sick T4000 non-contact safety interlock with electronically encoded actuator. This is the ideal interlock for large and heavy doors (also those with precise alignment) and conforms to category 4.
Features include:
unambiguous encoded actuator
integrated safety switching device
self testing without opening of protective mechanism
large mechanical tolerances for door alignment
small actuator and reading head
flush mounting in door paneling

LUT Heat Shrink Detection
The increased requirement for product security and tamper protection has meant that many products now have neat shrunk sleeves placed over their caps to enable easy detection of any tampering with the product after packaging.
It is important that the correct application of the sleeve during the production / packaging process can be ensured - using a fluorescent LUT scanner from Sick this is a simple process.

LUT Reading Invisible Codes
A recent LPC innovative application of the LUT Scanner in an industrial environment was a situation where the end client did not wish to see a visible code on the product - but the product was still required to carry the code.
The solution involved using a basic binary code format in invisible coding on the product which could be detected using the Sick LUT fluorescent scanner and some innovative software.
