Siemens Sonar-BERO

Sonar-BERO ultrasonic proximity switches are the absolute detection specialists: without any electrical or mechanical contact, as well as without any mechanical wear, they will reliably sense any object that is located within their range.

With detection ranges of between 6cm and 10m they are genuine all rounders - suitable for applications from sewage works to conveying systems, and they are available in two versions : with switching output and with analogue output.

Switching output applications include object sensing on conveyor belts and monitoring limit levels of liquids.

Analogue output applications include stack height sensing in storage operations and control of conveyor speeds.
